Dr. Phillips' Classes for 4-8-13 to 4-12-13



Rhetoric II
This week in Rhetoric II, students will continue presentations of their third thesis drafts.  The final draft (minimum 15 pages) is due on April 22nd

Antiquities
In Antiquities, we will continue our discussion of Julius Caesar and the changes he brought to the Roman world.  Students will present their Roman timeline projects on April 18th  

Students will continue their assigned readings by the schedule below.
·         Thursday Acts 1-5
·         Roman Timeline due on April 18th!


U.S. History
The U.S History class will continue our timeline of the War Between the States – major events, people, and ideas.  Students will present their modern American timelines on April 18th

Students will continue their assigned readings by the schedule below.
·         Tuesday – Carry a Big Stick, pgs. 191-207
·         Thursday – Patriot’s Handbook, pgs. 414-418
·         Modern American timeline due on April 18th!

Christendom
In Christendom, we will finish our discussion of the American kingdoms and move on to an overview of the Renaissance and Reformation. 

Students will continue their assigned readings by the schedule below.
·         Tuesday – Hamlet, pgs. 74-86
·         Thursday – Hamlet, pgs. 87-107
·         Middle to Late Middle Ages Timeline due on April 17th!

Latin II
We will complete our study of chapter 12 – translations and stories
