Rhetoric II
This week in Rhetoric II, we will continue our overview of
the most common informal fallacies used in writing and speaking. We will also begin a discussion of the
important considerations in public speaking – voice, gestures, posture, etc.
The second draft of the thesis (8 pages) is due on February
11th.
Antiquities
In Antiquities, we will continue our examination of the
Persian and Peloponnesian Wars.
Students will continue their assigned readings by the

U.S. History
The U.S History class will continue our parallel discussions
of the Bill of Rights and the major events between the American Revolution and

Christendom
In Christendom, we will finish our study of the Crusades,
discussing the results and lasting effects.
If time permits, we will move on to the Reconquest of Spain, an event
closely connected to the Crusades.

Latin II
We will continue our study of chapter 10, beginning with a
vocabulary quiz on Tuesday and continuing with translation work throughout the
week.
