Rhetoric II
This week in Rhetoric II, students will turn in and begin
presentations of their second thesis draft (8 pages). These presentations will begin on Monday and
continue after the winter break.
Antiquities
In Antiquities, we will continue our examination of
Alexander the Great – his empire and his legacy.
We will also read Julius
Caesar in parts, discussing the play and the historical events surrounding
it, as we go. And, beginning on
Wednesday,
Students will continue their assigned readings by the

U.S. History
The U.S History class will complete our discussion of the
War of 1812, moving into the Panic of 1819 and events that led to the War
Between the States.

Christendom
In Christendom, we will finish our study of the “Reconquest”
of Spain (an event closely connected to the Crusades), and move on to the Magna Carta. On Wednesday, students will begin presentations
of their Medieval biography projects.

Latin II
We will complete our study of chapter 10, finishing the
sentence and story translations. If time
permits, we will move on to the grammar presented in chapter 11.
