Rhetoric II
This week in Rhetoric II, the last few students will present
their first thesis drafts. Each senior
will present their research and will be questioned by both Dr. Phillips and
their classmates.
After presentations are complete, we will have individual
feedback and students will begin working towards their second drafts.
Antiquities
In Antiquities, we will continue our examination of the
Greeks, particularly the Persian and Peloponnesian Wars.
Students will continue their assigned readings by the

U.S. History
The U.S History class will begin discussing the Bill of Rights
and the important role they played in the formation of the U.S.
Constitution. If time permits, we will
move on to early developments and economic crises in the U.S., leading to the
War of 1812.

Christendom
In Christendom, we will discuss the changes in the Late
Middle Ages, then begin our study of the Crusades – major figures and events.

Latin II
We will complete the translation exercises and stories for
chapter 9. We will then review chapters
7-9 for an upcoming test (next week).
