Rhetoric II
The Rhetoric II class will review red herring and faulty assumption fallacies and discuss how to avoid them in speeches and writing.
Students will turn in their thesis outlines on February 22nd.
Antiquities
In Antiquities, we will complete our review of Classical Greece, discussing the Peloponnesian War and the eventual rise of both Philip II and Alexander the Great. Students will continue their reading by the schedule below.

Modernity
The Modernity class will continue discussing the “New World Order” - modern changes in government and the causes of World War I.
Students will continue their reading by the schedule below.
· Monday – Man Who Was Thursday, chap. 11-12
· Wednesday – Man Who Was Thursday, chap. 13-14
Christendom
The Christendom class will complete discussion of the Magna Carta and move into events of the late Middle Ages – the Black Plague and the Hundred Years’ War.

U.S. History
In U.S. History, we will complete our discussion of the War of 1812, the Panic of 1819, and move on to events that led to the War Between the States.
