Rhetoric II
The Rhetoric II class will discuss rhetoric as story-telling and will continue talking about how to form strong thesis statements.
Students will turn in their thesis statements on Friday, January 20th.
Antiquities
In Antiquities, we will continue our discussion life in two specific city-states: Athens and Sparta.
Students will continue their reading by the schedule below.
· Tuesday – Livy, pgs. 31-46
· Thursday – Famous Men of Ancient Rome, pgs. 1-14
Modernity
The Modernity class will discuss the reactionary movements against communism and corporatism – the Romantics, agrarianism, and distributism. If time permits, we will move on to the invention of modern art.
Students will complete their timeline presentations and will continue reading Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde by the schedule below.

Christendom
The Christendom class will continue discussing the Crusades, the highlights, major figures, and results.
Students will continue reading The Story of King Arthur and His Knights by the schedule below.
· Monday – King Arthur, pgs. 65-90
· Wednesday – King Arthur, pgs. 91-124
U.S. History
In U.S. History, we will complete our discussion of the Bill of Rights. We will also attempt to move on to the War of 1812 and the Panic of 1819, if time permits.
Students will read from The Patriot’s Handbook by the schedule below.
· Tuesday – Patriot’s Handbook, pgs. 186-198
· Thursday – Patriot’s Handbook, pgs. 197-206
