Christendom for 8/18 to 8/26

The Christendom class will meet on Mondays and Wednesdays with a "Reading and Composition" day on Friday (held in my room). In that time, students will be responsible to work on their assigned readings for history and English, writing for those courses, and planning ahead for other papers and projects. Use this time wisely!

We will begin the course with an overview of expectations and move into a study of Christianity's early influence in the Roman Empire, moving into the decline and fall of the Empire.

Students will follow the reading schedule below.

Friday (8/19) - Acts 7-8, 12, 14 & Creeds (handout)

Monday (8/22) - Rule of St. Benedict, Prologue & chapters 1-8

Wednesday (8/24) - Rule of St. Benedict, chapters 9-36
